The Story of Santa

It is definitely the season of Santa Claus, who has been celebrated for centuries. He has been depicted throughout history and folklore as a giving and generous soul who brings the joy of Christmas to children. He has grown from a monk named Saint Nick to a jolly being who flies through the skies in a sleigh and luckily, there are plenty of stories to share about him.

We decided to launch the next Dinosaur Twins book early since it was about a visit with Santa. The Dinosaur Twins books are meant as a birthday gift for my twin grandchildren, and each year the twins get more involved with the story building. This year they were divided in what the story should be about, a trip to the beach or a visit with Santa. And so we combined the ideas to create The Dinosaur Twins Meet Santa, at the Beach.

Dinosaur Twins Meet Santa at the Beach has Izy and JuJu celebrating Christmas while on vacation. At first, they aren't sure having their Christmas away from home would be good. But they begin to learn what is different about the holiday at the beach.

Be sure to check out the other books in the series:

And of course Santa brings other characters to the stories and some of them even get to be the main character!

Clyde the Reindeer Learns to a Fly is a story by Brandon Detwiler. Clyde worked for a Forest Engineering Company but he had a dream of leading Santa's Christmas Sled Team. This story allows us to follow Clyde as he follows his dream!

Clyde the Reindeer has a big dream. He longs to help guide Santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve, but that job is reserved for Rudolph. His luck changes one early autumn day when he finds out there's an opening to guide Santa’s team of reindeer. Clyde's determination to lead the sleigh in the "Big Show of Christmas" ensures that he will not pass up this opportunity, even if he doesn't know how to fly... yet!

Be sure to subscribe to the Kindness Kangaroo Library channel as this book will be featured next year!
